1. INFORMATION FOR USERS

Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

GLOBAL GAS CALL CENTER S.L.U. will be the Data Controller for the personal data of INDIVIDUALS who have created a profile on any of its social networks. This data will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD), and the Law on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI). The following information about the processing is provided:

Why do we process your personal data?

Purpose of processing: to maintain a relationship between the USER and GLOBAL GAS CALL CENTER S.L.U. (hereinafter the DATA CONTROLLER), which may include the following operations:

• Handling requests and enquiries submitted to the Data Controller
• Providing information about activities and events organised by the Data Controller
• Providing information about products or services offered by the Data Controller
• Interacting through official profiles

When the DATA CONTROLLER collects and processes personal data through its social networks, USERS will be informed of the purpose of the data collection and their rights regarding their personal data. Personal data will only be used for the stated purposes and will be kept secure.

Legal basis for processing: the explicit consent given by the USER to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

USERS may also access the social network’s own privacy policies at any time and configure their profiles to ensure their privacy.

How long will we retain your personal data?

Data retention criteria: data will be retained until the USER withdraws their consent, as indicated in this Privacy Policy.

Who do we disclose your personal data to?

Disclosure of data: information provided by the USER through the DATA CONTROLLER’s social networks, including personal data, may be published depending on the services used by the USER and may therefore become publicly available to other social media users. From their profile on each social network, USERS can configure which information they wish to make public in each case, view the permissions they have granted, and remove or disable them, as they would for any third-party application they no longer wish to use.

However, no disclosure of personal data to third parties outside the social network is envisaged, except where strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes of processing, in which case data may be disclosed to our communications service providers, with whom the DATA CONTROLLER has entered into the confidentiality and data processing agreements required by current privacy legislation.

What are your rights?

USER rights: these rights can only be fulfilled in relation to information under the DATA CONTROLLER’s control.

• The right to withdraw consent at any time.
• The right of access, rectification, portability and erasure of your data, and the right to restrict or object to its processing.
• The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with current legislation.

2. USE OF THE PROFILE

The DATA CONTROLLER will carry out the following activities:

• Accessing publicly available profile information.
• Publishing on the USER’s profile any information already published on the DATA CONTROLLER’s social network.
• Sending personal and individual messages through the social network’s channels.
• Updating the page’s status, with these updates being published on the USER’s profile.

USERS can always manage their connections, remove content that no longer interests them and restrict who they share their connections with. To do so, they must access their settings, where they will find various options relating to the privacy level of their social media profile.

3. PUBLICATIONS

The purpose of social networks is to give visibility to and publicise the DATA CONTROLLER’s activities. These tools store personal data on the servers of the respective services and are governed by their own privacy policies.

Once USERS become followers of or join the DATA CONTROLLER’s social network, they may publish comments, links, images, photographs or any other type of multimedia content supported by it. In all cases, USERS must own the content they publish, hold the corresponding copyright and intellectual property rights, or have the consent of the third parties concerned.

Any publication on the social network, whether text, graphics, photographs, videos, etc., that breaches or may breach morality, ethics, good taste or decorum, and/or infringes intellectual or industrial property rights, image rights or the law, is expressly prohibited. Offensive, defamatory, illegal or inappropriate comments or content will not be tolerated on the company’s profiles. The Company reserves the right to remove such comments or content and block the users responsible.

In such cases, the DATA CONTROLLER reserves the right to remove the content immediately, without prior notice, and may request that the USER be permanently blocked.

The DATA CONTROLLER will not be liable for content freely published by the USER.

USERS must bear in mind that their publications will be visible to other users and that they are therefore primarily responsible for their own privacy.

Images that may be published on the social network will not be stored in any file by the DATA CONTROLLER, but will remain on the social network.

4. DATA OF MINORS OR PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Users are advised to review and read the terms of use and privacy policy of each social network when registering, taking into account the different age requirements for registration.

The DATA CONTROLLER shall also be expressly exempt from any liability that may arise from the use of social networks by minors or persons with special needs, whose access should take place under the supervision and control of their legal representatives.

The DATA CONTROLLER reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through our social media profiles and/or our website.
